A New Year of Blogging

2012 has come and gone.  2013 is now upon us.  I’m sure this is no secret and no surprise by now, unless you’ve been living in a cave. I thought about doing the whole Happy New Year post and all that jazz, but alas, I decided against it.  Instead, concerning reThink, I took the last portion of 2012 and the beginning days of 2013 to…think.  Shocking, I know.  I thought about the past year, the past two and (almost) one half years since our family has moved to Gainesville, and a lot of other things between then and now.

I even thought about posting a summary of reThink for 2012, but to be quite honest, the numbers weren’t impressive.  And to be quite honest, I can’t say that I always blog for the numbers, or the readers.  Sometimes I blog because I enjoy it and that’s all there is to it.  Other times I blog with a purpose.  At this point I have purposed to blog more than I did in 2012.  I’m looking forward to sharing some original posts, as well as some posts from friends, saints, brothers and sisters from around the blogosphere.

For those of you who have decided to come along for the ride, I’m glad you’re here.  I hope to see you here often.  I invite you to share your thoughts, make comments, ask questions, give suggestions, etc.  Doing so will make the journey all the more full.  May we press on into the Lord.  May we know the Lord more and experience His life throughout our every day lives.
